Terms & Agreements

  • Reservations

After completing the booking form, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, along with our offer and all the details of your booking. Once you accept the offer, replying in writing to the confirmation email, and immediately after payment is stated, you will receive your booking voucher electronically and your contract, regarding the Services you have ordered, begins to exist.

  • Payment

Confirmation of your reservation requires a deposit of 30% in bank or by using credit card, no later than 48 hours before the start of the service, as stated in the confirmation email that will sent to you. Payment must be made before the start of the transfer either through banking system (paypal, ebanking, bank deposit) or directly to the driver (cash, debit / credit card). For issuing an invoice over € 500, payment through the banking system is necessary. Reservations that have not been paid based on the terms listed here and in the confirmation email are considered invalid..

  • Prices

Prices are calculated based on the vehicle, your destination and the date you wish to use our services. Our services are provided at a pre-agreed price and not at a fare. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, even after payment. Possible reasons may be e.g. change in toll, fuel and VAT prices We must notify you in writing of the change in price and the reasons for it.

  • Changes

The possibility of change without charge is possible up to 48 hours before the start of the service. After 48 hours, the change is related to availability and we can not guarantee it. All changes are made by writing to the email info@jtr-transfers.com. We will then send you an email in which you will have to reply and confirm its contents, in order to proceed with your request and issue a new booking voucher. If for any reason you do not receive the message, you are solely responsible for contacting us to verify that your request has been received and is being processed. We are not responsible if, for technical reasons, the communication process is not completed.

  • Cancellations & Refunds

If you wish to cancel your reservation, a refund is made if you have informed us by writing at email info@jtr-transfers.com up to 48 hours before the start of your transfer service. No refunds are made beyond 48 hours. We are not obliged to refund any bank charges for remittances.

  • Transportation services

It is your responsibility to ensure that all personal information and booking information provided when completing the form is correct (date, time, full address, destination, etc.). JTR Transfers will use the information you have completed during the booking process to get you as close as possible to your destination, given the characteristics of the vehicle and the natural conditions of access to the destination you requested. Passengers will be picked up at the meeting point, the date and time specified in your booking voucher.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your pre-arranged transfer with JTR Transfers to the airport is at least 2 hours before your scheduled flight or departure time. The guarantee of booking the transfer service on a date and time, which meets the requirements of your route, is yours. If you are unable to locate the driver at the agreed meeting point, it is your responsibility to contact JTR Transfers at the telephone number listed on the booking voucher. If JTR Transfers is not notified of the problem, the transfer will be canceled and no refund will be given. During the booking process you need to let us know if you are traveling with children. We recommend that you bring with you the child restraint system with which you are most familiar. If you do not wish to travel with your own child restraint system, you can request one during the booking process. This request is subject to availability and JTR Transfers cannot guarantee that its restraint system will be similar to what you are used to. In the EU under the new European Directive “i-SIZE / ECE 44/04″which provides that the choice of child seat will be made according to the height of the child, the seat will be required to be facing backwards, at least until the age of 15 months, children from 18 months, up to 25 kg, must are placed in a forward-facing seat, while older ones, from 22 to 36 kg, must be placed in a lifting seat. In addition, children up to 135 to 150 cm in height may be restrained by an adult seat belt, but it is mandatory to sit in one of the rear seats of the car. In the case of leased private transport, the law stipulates: For the transport of children under the age of 12 by car, it is mandatory to use special means of restraint and protection such as seats, seat belts, etc. It is forbidden for children under the age of 12 to sit next to the driver. If we have not been informed at the time of booking that you will be traveling with a minor or if the above conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse the service and your travel service will be canceled without refund. In either case, a child or infant will count as a passenger in the vehicle. JTR Transfers reserves the right to make any changes that may occur regarding the vehicle type or driver, without having to notify you of such change. The choice of the route to be followed, remains at the discretion of each driver. The driver has the right to refuse to follow routes that do not ensure the safety of the occupants as well as the integrity of the vehicle.

  • Force majeure

SKG Transfers can neither guarantee for be liable for any circumstances arising out of external circumstances before or during the transfer service of your choice. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, accidents and related delays, checks or police activities, acts of vandalism or terrorism, protests and organized disturbances, unforeseen road hazards, government or national authorities decisions, natural disasters and catastrophes, or other events not controlled by JTR Transfers.

  • Customer Responsibility and Obligations

By accepting this contract, you declare that you are of legal age and that you have the legal capacity to create and assume legally binding obligations, which allow you to comply with all the responsibilities associated with this contract. You declare that you understand the terms and conditions described herein. You understand and agree to notify JTR Transfers of any change or variation that may affect the travel service as soon as possible. The service will be organized and provided according to the information provided to us during the booking process. It is your responsibility to check and confirm that all the information contained in the booking form is correct and, in case of disagreement, to inform us immediately. You must bring the necessary documents and identification at all times. JTR Transfers will not be held liable or charged for your inability to obtain the proper documentation or to comply with local authorities. In the event that JTR Transfers should face a fine for non-compliance with local laws, regulations or other requirements imposed by the countries to which you wish to access, leave or visit, we reserve the right to withhold service or any money paid to us until the full amount of the penalty has been paid in full.

  • Luggage

The standard free luggage for you, per passenger, is a bag with a maximum weight of 20 kg and a total combined dimensions of 158 cm (height + width + length), as well as a hand luggage. For any larger luggage, you need to inform us in writing when completing the form. In case you forget any luggage in the vehicle, we will make every reasonable effort to recover the lost item and, if any, arrange shipping to the address provided when booking. You will be responsible for covering any additional costs. JTR Transfers is not responsible for any loss or damage to your luggage. We recommend that you take out a travel insurance policy that can cover any loss or damage.

  • Unaccompanied parcels – packages

JTR Transfers has the right to check the contents of the shipment it undertakes to process as well as not to receive items for handling if the sender refuses to have them inspected by a representative. JTR Transfers is also entitled, either upon receipt or at any point after receipt, not to proceed with a shipment if there is evidence of prohibited content or insufficient consignee information and if no customs declaration has been lodged when required by the applicable customs authorities. regulations and / or the shipment is not accompanied by the legal tax documents provided by law

  • Pets

During the booking process you must let us know if you are traveling with pets. Pets are the sole responsibility of their owner and must travel in an IATA approved box. The transportation of pets is subject to our approval and an additional charge will be charged. If we have not been informed at the time of booking that you will be traveling with a pet or if the above conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse the service and your travel service will be canceled without refund.

  • Special conditions

JTR Transfers reserves the right to refuse services to persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs. JTR Transfers reserves the right to cancel the service if the behavior or conduct of any passenger is such as to affect the safety of the driver, vehicle or other passengers. JTR Transfers will not be held responsible for any additional charges that may arise from such conduct. Smoking and consumption of alcohol or drugs in all our vehicles are strictly forbidden.

  • Current legislation

All our vehicles have the compulsory insurance required by the regulations of Greece and all the administrative licenses. JTR Transfers is a Greek Company and this agreement is governed by Greek law. For all disputes that arise or are related to the use of our transfer services in Greece, the courts of Thessaloniki are responsible
